9:00 am - 12:00 pm 13/10/2018 Runcorn, Brisbane Queensland
Brisbane Intrepid Landcare is proud to host an Intrepid Landcare pop-up event, post-National Landcare Conference, as an opportunity to meet Intrepids from across Australia out in nature.
Ben Bruijnesteijn, a local tribe member of Brisbane Intrepid Landcare, recently adopted a nature reserve from a local legend who recently ‘retired’ from his restoration efforts of 20 years. This slice of nature has a lot to offer.
Working in partnership with Habitat Brisbane (Brisbane City Council) and Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Group, we will be tree planting, watering plants and spotting wildlife.
Inspiring talks and a site tour, along with snacks will also be provided.
+ What to wear: closed in shoes and long sleeved shirt and pants is preferable.
+ Where to meet: The corner of Dew Street and Bonemill Road in Runcorn.
+ Transport options: catch a train to Runcorn station or email brisbaneintrepidlandcare@gmail.com for car pool options. For all other enquires on what to expect on the day, please contact Ben on 0416775323
