7:00 am - 1:00 pm 01/04/2017 - 02/04/2017 Mussellbrook & District Workers Club, Muswellbrook NSW
Host tribe: Hunter Intrepid Landcare
Calling all nature lovers to come join the Intrepid tribe as we travel out to Muswellbrook to help them with their Club to Club Working Bee.
Club to Club is an initiative to rehabilitate Muscle Creek between the Muswellbrook & District Workers Club and Muswellbrook Golf Club. This is a great opportunity to discover interesting facts about Muscle Creek, improve habitat and connectivity for threatened and endangered species, and to meet like-minded people.
Departure from Newcastle University will be at 7 am Saturday morning so that we arrive at 9 am for the start of the working bee. You can book a ticket for a spot on our hire bus for those that wish to catch a lift, otherwise you can book a ticket that lets us know that you will be self-driving.
After helping out for the day, the Intrepid Tribe will head out to Washpools, a beautiful part of the world, where we will camp Saturday night. Then Sunday morning, we will be doing the brilliant Burning Mountain Walk before heading back to Newcastle by around 1 pm. Please ensure you have your own camping gear to stay overnight.
All meals will be provided for, so please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
