TRIBE – HUNTER INTREPID LANDCARE
Calling all adventurous people, young and old, total beginner or expert!
Come find out what Intrepid Landcare is all about! We have a great morning of food, learning and fun lined up including a guest appearance by a survival and bushcraft enthusiast from Wildcraft Australia.
9am- Pancakes while we listen and learn about our mornings Landcare Activities, including weed identification and planting tips.
9:30am- We get out hands dirty Landcaring! We will be kicking off activities for the Burwood Landcare 2 year revegetation plan for the local Littoral Rainforest (google it… I had to).
11:30am- Our Wildcraft Guide will take us on a bush tucker walk and we will learn about some of the key things to survive in the bush including an introduction to “fire by friction”.
1pm- Wrap up. If you want to stay longer, bring a picnic lunch and go on your own adventure. Hot tips: beach for a surf, mountain biking or hit the crag.
