WHO’S IDEA WAS THIS ANYWAY

In 2015, National Young Landcare Champions Megan Lee and Naomi Edwards decided to collaborate to inspire, connect and empower young people to do stuff with matters, using Landcare as a central platform.

After researching the needs of young people and Landcare networks to engage the youth demographic and bringing their lived experience in innovating youth engagement initiatives, Intrepid Landcare was co-founded to drive a national campaign of youth action.

Today, Intrepid Landcare is a national network of local groups and young creatives spanning across Australia. Intrepid Landcare also provides leadership training and bespoke services in youth engagement to expand and support the needs of young people to get involved in Landcare, natural resource management, sustainability and climate action.
