2019 has been another adventurous year for Intrepid Landcare!
Again, we got to meet many inspiring young people ready to take action for the environment and work with generous people from a diversity of groups and organisations who are passionate about supporting the next generation to do stuff that matters. It’s through these relationships that we have been able to continue to share our vision, skills and knowledge through ongoing youth engagement and leadership development programs, and unique and creative collaborations.
This has contributed to our ongoing impact since 2015, and it is exciting to know that Intrepid Landcare has supported the development of over nineteen youth-led networks, including sixteen Intrepid Landcare-specific tribes, who have designed and delivered incredible, inspiring projects for young people in their communities!
Thank you to the many young people, contributors, mentors, partners, supporters and our incredible behind-the-scenes team for their energy, passion and contribution to the ongoing adventure that is Intrepid Landcare.
As we continue to face increasingly challenging times environmentally, politically, socially, mentally and emotionally, it is our ongoing commitment and connection to the cause and each other that keeps us moving forward so that all of us can step into a future we want to live in. Our thoughts are especially with those affected by the recent and ongoing fires, and we wish you much healing and love through these times.
