Join us for a morning of planting native species in the beautiful countryside of Royalla! 🌱 Help restore local habitat while enjoying some fresh air and good company.
We’ll meet at the Hancock Library carpark, near Hancock Library and the Research School of Chemistry on the ANU campus, at 8:30am to carpool to the event. We’ll be working onsite from 9:15am to 12:30pm.
Afterwards, we’ll step on the trail leads through open country to the stunning London Bridge Arch, a huge natural limestone formation shaped over thousands of years. We’ll be back on campus around 3:00pm.
No previous experience or equipment is required! Gloves and tools will be provided, however, if you have your own gloves you may wish to bring these instead of borrowing some. As some of the weeds we’ll be removing can be prickly, please wear comfortable long pants and long sleeves with sturdy enclosed shoes. Please also bring a hat and plenty of water. We will provide free snacks, so let us know in your ticket response if you have any dietary requirements.🍿🍪🥗
