9:00 am - 2:30 pm 07/10/2018 Bundewallah Reserve, Berry NSW
18 – 30s and from the Illawarra and Shoalhaven (NSW)? Curious about Landcare? Want to get out and explore more and meet like-minded peeps from your area? Then we have the perfect Sunday session to dip your toes in and see what it’s all about…
Meet at 9am on Sunday 7th October, for a guided hike up to the Bundewallah Rainforest. Take in the rare tranquil scenery of this hidden gem, soak up majestic giant figs and cedars which pepper the forest, and be rewarded with a beautiful waterfall. You will be guided by local Bundewallah Bushcare members and local botanists who know the area intimately.
After taking in the sights and learning about the rainforest, get your hands dirty at one of the most scenic work sites you will get access to, and help to restore this rainforest by removing some environmental weeds that threaten areas of the forest. We will be clearing small privet trees adjoining the rainforest.
Your reward, a fully catered for long table lunch on a deck overlooking a local vineyard. After lunch, there will be an opportunity (for those over 18 years) to taste some the wine produced last year and discuss viticulture practices used on the property.

For all special dietary requirements, please send a separate email to hello@intrepidlandcare.org
Please also email Intrepid Landcare if you require a cancellation ASAP, as this is a limited ticketed event (only 20 tickets) and will be fully catered by local volunteers. We would not like to disappoint anyone on a waiting list or waste food from over catering.
If you would like to join the waiting list if this event is sold out, please email Intrepid Landcare and we will let you know when and if there are available tickets.
Please note: Some areas of the work site are steep and require a moderate level of fitness. Please wear closed in shoes, long sleeves, long pants (stuff gets scratchy!), and a hat on the day.
This event is proudly supported by Berry Landcare, Shoalhaven City Council, Bundewallah Bushcare, and Intrepid Landcare.
