11:00 am - 1:30 pm 31/05/2025 Milbrodale, Milbrodale NSW
Join Hunter Intrepid Landcare for their second habitat planting event to support the Glossy Black Cockatoo!
The South Eastern Glossy Black Cockatoo is nationally vulnerable, and its feeding habitat has been severely impacted by drought (2017–2020) and the 2019–2020 bushfires. To help with its recovery, we are reintroducing Allocasuarina and Casuarina trees—the cockatoos’ favourite feed trees—in Milbrodale, NSW. Get involved in this project to support the long-term recovery of this iconic species, and gain hands-on experience in conservation, land management, and community action!
Hunter IL will be teaming up with Broke Bulga Landcare to get over 700 plants in the ground, providing valuable habitat, with lunch to follow!
When: Saturday 31st May, 11am to 1:30pm.
Where: Milbrodale, NSW (the full address will be provided when you register)
