HOST TRIBE: Hunter Intrepid Landcare
Hunter Local Land Services, with support from the Port of Newcastle Community Partnership Program, is inviting you to explore the Hunter River estuary and intertidal wetlands of Ash Island while collecting marine debris to protect these vital ecosystems.
You’ll receive training in marine debris collection and recording, as part of the Australian Marine Debris Initiative, meet like-minded people, and enjoy kayaking in a spectacular waterway.
Kayaks, life jackets, and all other equipment will be provided, as well as a free lunch.
