North East Melbourne Intrepid Landcare || Planting with Pride

North East Melbourne Intrepid Landcare are back for another morning of fun as you’ll restore habitat along Olinda Creek and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community! Whether you’re a seasoned conservationist or just curious to lend a hand, everyone is welcome! They’ll provide the plants and guidance – you bring your fabulous self, comfy clothes, gloves, drink bottle/keep cup, and a friend.

Location: Meet/park at Bellbird Park, Lilydale.

9:45am – Morning coffee/tea/hot chocolate (BYO cup)

10:15am – Site introduction, ecology/platypus talk, Pride history

10:30am – Group planting activity (800 indigenous plants)

12:30pm – Free pizza at a local venue

 

All identities, allies and experience levels welcome!

 

Please note that the nearest toilets are located at Lilydale Lake (10 minute walk, 2 minute drive). This event will be cancelled in the case of heavy wind/rain. Please register as numbers (and pizzas) are capped. Send them an email if you need a lift from the station!
