🌿 Calling all young nature lovers aged 18-35 in Victoria! 🌿
Want to connect with nature, meet like-minded friends, and explore new career opportunities? We are thrilled to announce the Nature Stewards Winter 2026 course being hosted by the Victorian National Parks Association specifically for young adults!
Facilitated by two wonderful #IntrepidLandcarers, this is an incredible opportunity you won’t want to miss. Along the way, you’ll be joined by special guest presenters, including traditional custodians, researchers and environment industry experts.
Why is it totally worth your time? Across 8 online evening classes and 6 hands-on field sessions, you’ll dive deep into our local environment and pick up awesome practical skills. You will learn all about:
▪️First Nations culture, place, and land management
▪️Geology and soil sampling
▪️Plant and fungi identification
▪️Waterways, fire ecology, and climate change
▪️Career skills and getting involved in community
📅 When: 25 July to 19 Sept 2026 (Tuesday nights online & Saturday mornings in the field)
📍 Where: Classes online + field trips around inner and outer eastern Melbourne
