A Lakeside day at Mt Pleasant..

Come join us for a day with nature only 15mins from ANU – on the slopes of Mt Pleasant, along side Lake Burley Griffin.
We will have working-bee with local Parkcare members, clearing out small bushes and other weeds. After the weeding, we will explore the surrounding bush-land for an afternoon picnic (morning-tea & lunch provided).
This is an excellent opportunity get some fresh air & exercise, gain practical experience with native plant & weed ID and connect with local community groups.
Departing Burton & Garran Hall (ANU) at 9am, carpooling to and from the sites – we expect to be back at ANU by approximately 3pm however if needed we can accommodate needing to head back early!
Cost: $5 to cover food and petrol costs throughout the day, any leftover money will also be used to assist in running future events throughout the year! The details are in the google form and please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
