Childhood Summit 2019

The inaugural 2019 Childhood Summit, hosted by Nature Play QLD in Brisbane, will bring together thought leaders, gatekeepers, key influencers and practitioners, and young people, to discuss systemic change for children. Nature will be at the core.

Intrepid Landcare is a proud-supporter of this summit to provide our thought-provoking ideas about young people and their desire to purposefully connect with nature. Having facilitated workshops, retreats and projects around Australia that focus on engaging young people in Landcare, there is a common theme among communities and young people – people want do stuff that matters!

You can be part of contributing to this national conversation and movement towards actions that will protect our children’s overall health, wellbeing, life satisfaction, and the planet as well as increase the connectedness and cohesiveness of our communities, as well rally around our young.
